WellLink Welcomes Dr. Michael Suk to Board, Reinforcing Commitment to Innovation and Partnership
WellLink has appointed nationally recognized physician executive and healthcare leader Dr. Michael Suk, MD, JD, MPH, MBA, to its Board of Directors, bringing one of healthcare's leading voices in quality, patient safety and innovation to the organization.

A board-certified orthopedic surgeon and nationally recognized physician executive, Dr. Suk currently chairs The Joint Commission Board of Commissioners, a global driver of quality improvement and patient safety in healthcare. Through leading practices, unmatched knowledge and expertise, and rigorous standards, they help organizations across the continuum of care lead the way to zero harm.
A former academic department chair and health system executive at Geisinger, Dr. Suk has led large-scale clinical, educational, and operational initiatives, including pioneering value-based care models. He is also a White House Fellow and Baldrige Executive Fellow, bringing deep expertise spanning clinical care, governance, quality, and health policy. Dr. Suk previously served as Chair of the American Medical Association Board of Trustees from 2024 to 2025.
