WellLink Showcases Local Art Through Kings & Queens of Art Program

WellLink is thrilled to announce a collaboration with Kings & Queens of Art, a grassroots collaborative of artists of all disciplines with a special focus on artists from the re-entry sector, presently or formerly incarcerated, to display art within the WellLink headquarters, located in Playhouse Square in downtown Cleveland.
Founded by native Clevelander Gwendolyn Garth, the Kings & Queens of Art’s current exhibit on display at WellLink includes pieces from seven different local artists, all available for purchase.
The exhibit is located on the fourth floor of the WellLink headquarters, in the community room, which frequently hosts special events and is available for rental. The collection of art on display will evolve throughout the year as pieces are sold and new works are added to keep the display fresh and complete.
“Partnering with WellLink allows us to bring the transformative power of art directly into the workplace and into the heart of the community,” said Garth. “At Kings & Queens of Art, we believe in creating spaces where creativity and culture thrive. This collaboration is more than showcasing art — it’s about celebrating amplifying local voices, celebrating African American art and history, and building a vibrant, inclusive environment where everyone can feel inspired.”
Kings & Queens of Art’s mission is to build a network of artists and resources that supports a vibrant arts environment, in a neighborhood context, and strives to be a catalyst for transforming community through the celebration of the arts and African American history and culture. This is accomplished by creating and providing a safe, communal space for all kinds of artists — from beginners to professionals, regardless of ethnicity or artistic discipline — to come together and express their creative sides.
“We are honored to welcome the works from Gwendolyn Garth and the Kings & Queens of Art’s collaboration of artists into our space,” said WellLink President & CEO Brian Lane. “Their powerful mission aligns with our belief that total well-being includes creative expression, cultural connection, and community empowerment. This collaboration not only brings beauty and inspiration into our workplace but also helps amplify voices that too often go unheard. We are proud to be a part of something that celebrates heritage, fosters inclusion, and uses art as a force for healing and transformation.”
