WellLink Enhances Board Leadership with New Appointment and Term Extensions

WellLink is pleased to announce the term extensions of four directors and welcome a new leader to its board. Drawn from hospital and community organizations in the Northeast Ohio region, these individuals will support the organization’s mission of bringing together partners through innovation to positively impact the communities it serves.
Joining the WellLink Board of Directors is Marti Bauschka, MBA, MSN, RN, NEA-BC, vice president of patient care / CNO at Southwest General Health Center, for a three-year term.

WellLink’s Board of Directors is governed by community leaders and administrators from hospitals and healthcare systems in the region. The board helps support the organization’s mission by focusing efforts on areas that benefit the healthcare community through a regional approach.
The WellLink Health Alliance Board of Directors approved the term extensions of Pam Budak, MSSA, LISW-S, and Anne Nelson, with terms ending on Sept. 10, 2028.
The board is governed by and comprises hospital, academic and community leaders in Northeast Ohio, and works to support the association in addressing high-priority healthcare needs and issues in the community.
The HealthComp, Inc. Board of Directors has extended the terms of Scott Platz and Justin Gallo until Sept. 10, 2028. This board oversees WellLink’s largest business division, WellLink Group Purchasing. Directors serving on the board lend their time and talents to assist that business line with long-term growth and sustainability.

About the Directors:
Marti Bauschka, MBA, MSN, RN, NEA-BC, is the vice president of patient care / CNO at Southwest General Health Center. In her role, she is responsible for all patient care programs and nursing services within the Health Center and holds administrative responsibility for behavioral health, emergency and trauma, cardiovascular, maternity, oncology and hospice, and perioperative services.
Pamela Budak, MSSA, LISW-S, is the executive director of Bluestone Child and Adolescent Hospital. She has served the mental health field for over 25 years as a licensed independent social worker with the supervisory designation (LISW-S), and for much of her career, Budak has worked as a child and family therapist. Budak’s work has focused on improving the health outcomes of young people in the Greater Cleveland community.
Justin Gallo is the chief supply chain officer and vice president of operations for the University of Texas Medical Branch and brings more than 20 years of experience as an engineer and executive consultant. Previously, Gallo served as the vice president of Supply Chain Management for The MetroHealth System. In addition to his civilian career, Gallo actively serves in the United States Navy Reserve Force.
Anne Nelson is the senior assistant dean for student affairs and academic programs of the Monte Ahuja College of Business at Cleveland State University. In her role, she is responsible for generating and maintaining enrollment, working with faculty to enhance the business education curriculum, overseeing the college’s undergraduate student engagement services, leading the academic advising teams, creating career development and exploration programs, and administering the college’s scholarship program and petitions.
Scott Platz, MBA, is the senior director of strategic pricing and analysis and finance director of value-based operations for the Cleveland Clinic Health System. In this role, Platz is responsible for implementing, overseeing and developing the strategic pricing direction for the Cleveland Clinic enterprise. He is an experienced healthcare leader with expertise in large academic hospital and community hospital settings and has served the Cleveland Clinic in numerous financial roles for more than 12 years.
