Pivoting Strategies: How Community and Nonprofit Organizations Have Adjusted During COVID-19,” viewers will hear from:

- Andrew Newsome, Strategy Director, Cleveland Can’t Wait.
- Victor Ruiz, Executive Director, Esperanza.
- Jessica Walters, President/CEO, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Cleveland.
The discussion, part of The Center’s
COVID-19 and Healthcare Leadership Series, will explore how these organizations have adjusted their strategies and explain what impact COVID-19 has had on their mission and the communities they serve. Terstenyak will also discuss in-depth with the panelists what the future holds for nonprofits serving our community and how our #GiveBackCleveland campaign helps support their mission.
The
Give Back campaign was launched last August by CHAMPS Group Purchasing (GPO), an affiliate of The Center for Health Affairs, to support local community and nonprofit organizations impacted by the pandemic. During the campaign, which runs through 2021, CHAMPS GPO will give a percentage of the proceeds to these four participating Greater Cleveland nonprofit organizations with every purchase made by new CHAMPS GPO members. The campaign creates a pathway for CHAMPS and its members to invest in the community and is aligned with The Center’s mission to positively impact the health of Northeast Ohioans.
