Cuyahoga County Health Check to be Held April 30

On Tuesday, April 30, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Scott Auditorium at MetroHealth Medical Center, The Center for Health Affairs will release the results of its county-wide health needs survey at Cuyahoga County Health Check: An Overview of Results from the 2012 Community Health Needs Assessment.
With the help of its consulting partner, the Hospital Council of Northwest Ohio and stakeholder group, collectively known as Cuyahoga County Health Partners (CCHP), The Center developed and distributed a survey to the community to examine important health issues and determine where Cuyahoga County stands when it comes to the health of its residents.
The results of this county-wide survey will be released to the public for the first time at this community event which is free to attend and open to the public. Legislators and media are encouraged to attend, as well as members of the healthcare community.
More than 20 health topics will be covered at this Cuyahoga County Health Check, including:
- health perceptions - healthcare coverage - cardiovascular health - tobacco use - women’s health - weight status - oral health - environmental health - disaster preparedness
