Bill Ryan Responds to Dovilla Medicaid Letter

On Tuesday, April 16, 2013, The Center for Health Affairs' President and CEO Bill Ryan responded to a letter sent from Representative Mike Dovilla to a constituent explaining his opposition to Medicaid expansion. In the letter, Dovilla comes to a number of conclusions that are not based on the most complete information available. In his response to Dovilla's letter, Ryan requests that the Representative use the best information available when considering the significance of the policy decision before him. To ensure all lawmakers had access to these clarifications, the letter was also distributed the rest of the members of the General Assembly.
