One Year of WellLink: Reflecting on a Remarkable First Year

One year ago, we introduced WellLink.

It was an exciting moment for our organization and an important milestone in a broader journey of growth and transformation. WellLink was created to reflect who we have become: a connected healthcare solutions organization bringing together advocacy, collaboration, purchasing, innovation and strategic partnerships in new ways to better support healthcare organizations and the communities they serve.

Over the past year, we have seen that vision come to life in ways that have been energizing, meaningful and, at times, even bigger than we imagined.

This year brought growth, momentum and important milestones across the organization.

We completed our first group purchasing acquisition with Fairway GPO, a significant step in the continued growth of WellLink Group Purchasing and our ability to create even greater value for both members and supplier partners. The acquisition strengthens our purchasing portfolio and expands opportunities to help organizations maximize savings and reinvest resources where they matter most.

We also announced our affiliation with The Healthcare Council, an exciting milestone that expanded WellLink’s reach and strengthened our growing national presence. Bringing together two organizations with deep roots in healthcare and a shared belief in relationships, collaboration and service, the affiliation reflects a commitment to building stronger connections across regions, perspectives and communities while preserving the trust and local relationships that matter so deeply in healthcare.

This year also marked the launch of WellLink Innovations, an exciting step forward in our efforts to connect healthcare organizations with trusted partners, emerging technologies and forward-thinking solutions, including Jorie AI and ecfirst. Through Innovations, we have continued important conversations around cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, operational transformation and the future of healthcare, while building partnerships that help organizations navigate change with greater confidence.

At the same time, we expanded our association membership model in ways that allow us to engage and support a broader range of organizations across the healthcare continuum. That evolution reflects something we believe strongly: the challenges facing healthcare today require collaboration across sectors, disciplines and communities.

And amid all of this growth and transformation, we remained grounded in people and purpose.

One of the moments that captured that spirit most clearly was the launch of our Compassion in Action Awards, recognizing individuals who make an extraordinary difference in the health and well-being of our communities. The stories shared through those awards served as a powerful reminder of why this work matters and the incredible people driving healthcare forward every day.

We also saw that spirit reflected through events and partnerships that brought people together for meaningful conversations about healthcare’s future. From ConnectNEO and leadership forums to innovation collaborations and community initiatives, this past year reinforced something we have long believed at WellLink: progress happens through connection, relationships and collaboration. It happens when people are willing to work together to solve hard problems and create new possibilities.

As we celebrate WellLink’s first birthday, we are incredibly grateful to the members, partners, sponsors, colleagues and community leaders who have been part of this journey. Your trust, support and collaboration have helped shape this first year in ways we could not have accomplished alone.

And while we are proud of what we have built together over the past year, we are even more excited about what lies ahead.

Healthcare continues to evolve rapidly, and WellLink will continue evolving alongside it; building partnerships, creating opportunities, advancing innovation and strengthening connections that help communities thrive.
